Crossed Roller Bearings
In the crossed roller bearing, rollers are separated by spacers and the axis of rotation of adjacent rollers are at 90° to each other. This unique design allows the crossed roller bearing to accommodate the axial, radial and moment loads in different directions.
The size of inner ring and outer ring of the crossed roller bearing has been minimized to achieve an ultra-thin construction with high rigidity. Therefore, crossed roller bearings are extensively used for industrial robots, machining center turntables, industrial manipulators, medical equipment, small cranes, measuring instruments, and more.
